Same problem here. I but synchronized calendars and blocked one day (for test) and nothing happens on the other site. Unless you refresh information technology manually. Just this cancels the idea of having calendars synchronized, having to refresh them manually, doesn't information technology?

One of my friends sent booking.com a ticket few days back, complaining about the same trouble and they said there is a bug effect and they're working on solving information technology. Well, I take no idea why would a HUGE visitor such as booking.com have small problem like "problems" and they're taking more than it deserve to solve it.

Well, am and so eager to meet this issue solved soon.

any thought when it will be working? I practice non encounter the option for synchronising the agenda in my business relationship, however I have seen it in frineds' accounts. Any idea why some accounts exercise take and other don't have the sync option?

This is still an issue today, the system is not automatically refreshing and I am at present having to contact guests that the dates are not available.

This really questions my use of booking.com as I can't trust it....

I know its a pain. I am hosting in NZ too. Take gone to not instant booking with A , getting lots of guests still.

Yes, accept to manually confirm etc but no stress. Much ameliorate than double bookings !

Just don't accpet this, telephone them upwardly and mutter complain complain, this is Booking.com's fault and the least they can practice is contact the guest explain the error and cancel the booking.

What particularly annoys me well-nigh this is they clear all the blocked dates so it doesn't matter if yous've blocked it out months in advance the dates can notwithstanding be made available.

This is a existent showstopper for me with booking.com.

there no interface for single booking left ,I downloaded Abnb and have no problem with in that location editcalender,

i had trouble today it showed closed ,and so open and when the simply room I put up got booked it open that more rooms were available.

i don't accept a front end desk with staff sitting around all day to wait for people to walk in and an old

reckoner sitting at reception to type the over length link in that's not paste able

I had too manually close of it

then it opened next months dates when they are closed off

we are in a world of new tech

booking.com is a search engine of the 90 s when a dummies at University south realises that anyone can spend coin on google add s to go business ,nosotros may go better service ,

ipo final two years I give them two year so market place share will be gone from booking .com

i hope someone in the office reads this as ,we might become some service from the commission nosotros pay them to feed us shit thru the old forum system

I am having same issue. Two days agone, I could see synchronization tab on top left side in each listing. I take checked, it was working well both ways with airbnb & tripadvisor. What has happened? The whole tab is missing? Is it a technical problem or another trouble?

Hi, my airbnb calendar has been blocked from booking.com. Some dates from my Airbnb calendar look like have been booked from a guest in booking.com, but the same dates are available at my booking.com calendar. I still don't trust the synchronize between AirBnB and Booking.com - I only manually do it considering I assume that it won't synchronize. Very frustrating for me every bit I am constantly checking my phone for updates from AirBnB and Booking.com as well as my own website for reservations and so that I don't end up with double bookings.

Information technology seems that the engineering should be up to date with no bugs in the way.

I called Booking.com in the beginning and sat on hold for over an hour and was told to just wait 24 hours for the organization to catch upwards and it should "fix itself". Well, information technology didn't.

Don't get me incorrect, our reservation numbers have increased with booking.com, simply the xv% commission is a piffling steep to be paying with the lack of client support nosotros receive when we demand something.

The just actual person I get to talk to at any given time wants to call me and sell me some additional service they offer.

I have had the aforementioned issue, I have my property listed on AirBNB, Booking.com and VRBO. All the other platforms sync perfectly, the simply one that doesn't is Booking. Information technology has already led to ane double booking.

There doesn't seem to be any solution and I have simply discovered that now fifty-fifty the sync to ical has stopped working.

I agree with other posters on here - this is a straightforward event which needs to be resolved and I will not list with Booking.com next year because of it.

I am relatively new to booking.com. I accept synced with airbnb. Airbnb is picking up bookings on booking.com but not the reverse. we take a long weekend coming up and two nights are booked through airbnb - I don't want someone booking it on booking.com. Is there a solution??

If it does not synchronize and then best thing would be to marker calendars manually both on airbnb and booking.com . Also, in that location is one more mode to create a calendar of your bookings on Google. It will exist merely 1 agenda only for each property. Export ical of Google. It means copy and paste link in your both airbnb and Booking.com calendars. You tin can test it. In my case information technology works. Thanks

I've had the same trouble and think I found a solution - hope it helps. When I "import" the AirBnB Calendar Link to Booking.com, I become the following fault:

"This isn't a valid iCal URL – please try again."

For some reason Booking.com does not recognise it. Strangely enough (and I don't know why this is), if I go to Abode Away (re-create the AirBnB link I added there, which works) and then go dorsum to booking.com pasting that, information technology seems to sync.

So become to any other platform (and copy the imported AirBnB link from at that place, instead of exporting information technology from AirBnB) and by into Booking.com.

This at least worked for me...

I was as well receiving the fault message "This isn't a valid iCal URL – delight effort over again." I read the previous comment and, because I am non listed on any other platforms, I copied my ABB link and pasted into a Discussion certificate. I then copied information technology from Word and pasted into Booking.com. It worked!

I am also doing in the same manner. Likewise, I suggest you to go to the CALENDAR Link in your google account (Gmail account).

Delight create single or multiple calendars based on the number of backdrop. Copy ICAL link and paste into your airbnb or booking.com calendars. It ways that yous are exporting google calendar and importing into airbnb or booking.com calendars. Now synchronize it.

Once synchronized booking.com agenda booked date will be changed to the RED colour. It works. This will give you guarantee. Y'all tin use Google link anywhere only best to my knowledge one cannot import other calendars to GOGGLE. Thanks

I take the same problem, I accept VRBO and Trip Advisor calendars pulling information into Booking.com only AirBNB will only work when yous add together it. This previously worked just has stopped. I have tried removing the airbnb calendar and adding it and it only pulls the data at the moment of adding, information technology does not synch periodically.

This is a major problem as Booking.com holds the hosts accountable for double bookings and you are responsible for the costs of alternate adaptation for your guests if you cannot host them.

Agape I have washed that and information technology is still happening. Screenshot below shows when I added it terminal night and information technology synched, null today.

Not much support from Booking.com back up staff.

"I am sorry to hear that the synching of your Airbnb and Booking.com calendars is non working as it should exist.

We always aim to provide a seamless feel for our partners. Nonetheless, we accept no responsibility of overbookings caused by a filibuster in the synching of the calendars. Please bear in mind that the synching of the calendars is a costless service, but it does not work as a Channel Manager.

If you would like to avoid overbookings, we suggest setting your Airbnb to booking upon asking, and always manually check whether you have availability. Alternatively, consider getting a channel managing director."

Hello, same error hither, external Calendar did'nt synch since few monthes (January 2019)

No response from Booking.com back up, at the cease of the week, I'll close my Booking.com'south account considering last week, because of this problem, there is a double booking on Airbnb and Booking, and Booking.com wanted me to pay to relocate customers, as if it was my mistake if their IT department is rotten !

I suggest you to create Google agenda for your reservations for each property. It will be only one (i) calendar. Then delight synchronize manually. You can non have chance. You tin add other calendars too. Thanks

This is and so frustrating and stressful. I had to to cake i of my rooms on Booking, Airbnb and Agoda just to be sure to have a backup in case of double bookings. I want to close my Booking account considering of these problems but I get aprox thirty% of my bookings from it so I can't.

I am afraid that solves zero ISH. The whole point of the synchronization is to avoid double bookings...

It has now been a year and I take to become into every agenda (Airbnb, Booking and VRBO) and refresh automatically every fourth dimension I become a booking to ensure that nothing is missed. I wish they could sort this out,.. it is non rocket scientific discipline!

I am having the same problem. The airbnb calendar is valid as I can open it in outlook merely I cannot import it into booking equally it gives me the same error bulletin that Lorenzo has.

Is there a reported issue for this?

I find it hilarious that such a big company cannot fix this.

I practise not see whatever trouble. I am fetching calendars every twenty-four hours. Equally explained before, please make google calendar too for each listing. Paste Google ICAL at that place along with airbnb ICAL scripts, and then synchronize calendars. It works. You need to export calendars from Google and airbnb and import in booking.com. Delight try

Howdy,

I don't quite sympathise why google calendar is involved here. What I am doing is importing the calendar from Airbnb via the consign ical link from airbnb. This worked fine at least until January 2019. Now, all all of a sudden, it doesn't synchronize anymore.

It's clearly a booking.com problem since it worked before.

The agenda ics file downloaded when I paste the link in the browser is perfectly valid since it can be loaded in outlook and I can verify that everything is well exported.

Why is booking.com having bug with this is actually the point hither.

Why should I use google calendar? Is this the style to practise it or is this a workaround?

I'm still having the same issues even though it has become a fleck better. My routine at present is to check synchronization manually subsequently each new reservation either information technology's from Airbnb, Agoda or Booking. Sometimes information technology'due south synced, sometimes not. It'south about 50/50 I would say.

I too get the error:

"This isn't a valid iCal URL - please effort once more."

when trying to import my exported AirBnB calendar. I have tried several times.

I accept also pasted information technology to notepad and tried to copy information technology again from there, but aforementioned error.

When I paste into a browser, the iCal file is downloaded no trouble.

And so why is my import rejected?

Ical is never downloaded, rather information technology should exist copied and pasted. Y'all tin can direct paste information technology or U can also, paste in Discussion then afterwards paste it. In my case, I do not run into any problem.

I downloaded the iCal file to prove the URL was valid.

It imports into Google Agenda simply fine.

I think BDC just doesn't similar it somehow.

Having same issues today with the Airbnb calender non syncing hence I now have double bookings. Deleted Airbnb calender 3 times and reloaded with new cal link. Still zilch in fact more airbnb bookings dissapeared then the calender went altogether. Spoke with booking.com a few times this morn later on numerous calls. At present they are saying there is a problems and nosotros will call you back. I would take thought if they had an issue with a bug they would send out an update first off to exist aware of the trouble? Anyone else having issues today?

Yeah customer support has confirmed there is a trouble. I've had 2 double bookings during the final ii days as a issue of AirBnB calendar syncing problems and not being able to import properly. One calendar that didn't import in Chrome, did in Firefox, simply then other calendars failed with both browsers. Go figure.

Every time we get a booking I go to all the sites we listing with and refresh the calendars manually - a hurting in the donkey, but the only style I am comfortable avoiding double bookings!

SOLUTION: For those of yous struggling with the problem of Booking.com saying that the Airbnb iCal link is Non A VALID ICAL URL, I take a solution..

I had the same trouble. I selected the iCal link from Airbnb and pasted into Booking.com, and I got this error.

It turns out that when you select the contents of the dialog box that contains the iCal URL on the Airbnb site, y'all're just selecting the visible text. There is however boosted text to the right that you lot can't encounter and which isn't selected. This means you're only copying part of the URL. To select the full URL you have to click in the box and then drag the cursor to the right, which will reveal the rest of the link. You can then select all of it by clicking and dragging all the fashion to the left.

If you select, copy and paste the total URL into Booking.com, it works correct away. Yay!
